Description: Responsibilities for this role include performing the following duties:
- Develop firmware and/or software supported applications utilizing customer requirements for new or existing software products
- Participate in cross-functional projects to develop new and enhance existing technology solutions
- Initiate, plan, architect, design, develop, test, document, and track progress of projects to improve scalability, monitor system load
- Work closely with product marketing and program management to determine feasibility and prioritize features
- Ensure there are no errors impacting overall program or project success, damaging client relationships, incurring additional expenses, and/or limiting business unit's ability to meet objectives in overall functional area and possibly the entire business unit
- Serve as a team lead and/or direct the work of others on assigned projects
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members
- Apply advanced system architecture and networking methodologies

Requirements: Consideration for this opportunity will go to candidates with the following:
- 5+ years of Java ME/EE development experience
- Solid Object-Oriented Design and Programming skills, including 5+ years of Java, JSP, Servlets, AJAX, JavaScript, C/C++, Windows Services, and Win32 API (SDK) development skills
- Java Networking/http/https/Kerberos
- Tomcat and Apache web services
- Spring Framework
- Extensive experience in architecting, design, project management of complex development project
- Development experience with XML technologies, SOAP, Web Services and Web application
- Familiar with the full software life cycle development process from design to deployment based on marketing requirements
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated excellent organizational, planning and time management skills to accomplish goals
- A BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience in developing complex, multi-threaded, high performance software on Windows platforms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced teamwork skills
- Advanced knowledge of systems/program/ application development and testing skills
